I haven’t seen more specific calls to action but the student organizers at George Washington University’s Gaza solidarity encampment are surrounded/barricaded by cops, being threatened w suspension, and asking people to show up to support. University Plaza.

Israeli Senior Military Official Colonel Oren Zini on TV calling to wipe out Gazans & strike them with the ten Plagues

“We need to strike the enemy with TEN PLAGUES, WIPE OUT THE MEMORY OF AMALEK, to outstretch the arm with a mighty hand & give him one blow until it SCREAMS” ->

It is worth watching this CNN video from the moment Emory Econ Professor Caroline Fohlin came across the violent arrest of a protester on campus and asked the police, with shock, 'What are you doing?' That's all that prompted an officer to hurl her to the ground and handcuff her.

One of the primary functions of police is to violently crush progressive social movements. It's one of the reasons expanding the size and power of police is always authoritarian and is never an answer to inequality. *It is a key part of preserving inequality, in all its forms.*

So many deliberate distraction operations at play: The leadership of the Democratic Party is pushing the narrative that the *real* problem with the Gaza war is Netanyahu. Pro-Israel charlatans have concocted a false narrative about rampant anti-semitism on US campuses and…

Thank u Alec! The Humphrey decision that you, the Civil Rights Corps team and San Francisco Public Defender's Office and Mr. Humphrey won is what allowed for his pretrial freedom, so he was able to fight the charges at home instead of in jail for all those years.✊🏾🙏🏾

A story:
-7 years ago he was detained on 2 million dollar bail for a crime he didn't commit, facing a life sentence.
-We met his family at arraignment, they came to weekly participatory defense meetings.
-They made a social bio packet for bail hearing. (1/4)

A short, hopeful story. Starts 2 years ago, with a single mother named Terranisha in a Houston courtroom. Free pretrial because of bail reform. Ends w/ a dinner at John Legend’s house w/ other people who experienced freedom.

But really it’s only the beginning. Watch & read on:
