Kenya’s Nyanza Regional Police Commander, Patrick Tito has been quoted by The EastAfrican , unequivocally stating that he was not privy to the operation in Kisumu wherein 36 FDC Members were violently picked from and transferred to Kampala.

He further asserts that,"if at all there was an operation and arrests made, it was not done by my team or command". This is a further corroboration of our position that the kidnap of our colleagues from Kisumu was orchestrated by Ugandan forces that illegally raided their hotel.

The Director General ESO and other government officials should stop telling blatant lies that our colleagues were "deported" or "extradited" by Kenyan authorities!!!.

We condemn the savagery and reprehensible conduct exhibited by Uganda Police Force this morning when they violently arrested 14 FDC leaders who were headed to the Kenya High Commission to deliver a protest note over the abduction of our 36 colleagues from Kisumu a couple of weeks ago.

We further condemn the barbaric act of beating up journalists and shattering their gadgets.
