I enjoy posting on social because I’ve never tied an outcome to it. The only metric I measure is “fun.” Yeah I follow signals but if I’m not having fun, they don’t matter. Actually enjoying it is the only way to win the long game. Business results naturally follow.

"I took a bath this morning but I stayed in too long and my skin started to wrinkle and it taught me a huge lesson about scroll time on page." NOOOOOOO. Stop trying to turn mundane moments into business lessons. Stop it. Stop it now.

I love making money. I'm in business to 1) help people 2) make money. Business = money. No money, no business. Why is there a stigma around this? I feel zero shame admitting I love making money.

I stopped paying for my blue check and it feels so good. Never used a premium feature so, don’t need it. What’s it mean to you?

I used to have so much fun on this platform. But I haven't found the fun much at all recently. Just feels different I suppose. It's weird to feel off about a place I've spent so much time in. But also, it's not a big deal. You know? Anyone else feel this way?

It’s actually a good thing to hate your own writing. But only up to a certain point. Once you get good, you gotta give yourself grace. Improvement is gonna slow. Negative “ugh why aren’t I better” self talk kills the creative process. Enjoy the journey.

The best way to learn what to say on a platform is to say something on the platform. I had no idea what to say back in 2022 when I started. 50k followers later, it’s all because I followed the signal. Re-starting that process here today. Keen to love it again.

It's hard to be scared of imposter syndrome when you freely admit you're an imposter. Anything I've ever been great at, I started out sucking at. Before you know it, you’re as good as the people you envied. Lean into it. It takes the pressure off.

I've never once seen a downside to sharing a bold opinion in my content: -If someone disagrees, I get to expand my perspective -If someone agrees, I get to expand someone else’s perspective And if someone won’t hire me because of it? Good, makes room for people who will.

If you're not open minded enough to take constructive criticism as a learning opportunity, you'll struggle to scale your business/move up the ladder/make more money. Food for thought.
