it’s an exceptionally vulnerable thing, literally walking into small businesses and saying “can you hang this flyer for my punk blog” and posting videos of myself plugging a newsletter. I really appreciate people showing up for it.

the first day of having a paywall-locked post + people showed up for punk writing at a volume I haven’t been able to produce as a professional music critic literally ever. today I did an interview I’m really excited about. tough year, but building something is an unreal feeling.
