Had a great time presenting on cash transfers at my alma mater. Bonus: random snowstorm.

Danny was, among so many other things, a superb conversationalist.
And it is telling as grief radiates through his vast network that the grievers are so remarkably diverse, from Marxists to Libertarians.

I was so lucky to be able to have Danny Kahneman as a best friend and collaborator for decades. He usually ended our conversations with 'to be continued...' but I now have to simulate his part which is impossible. My favorite image of us 'working'.

I was just in a call with 4 other people, all of whom had a book coming out. Impressive people!

This might be a good time to re-up this thread - some of the graphics are out of date but it has some good tips.

Since starting the Superforecaster Panel, no survey posted to the platform has gotten fewer than 50-60 forecasts, which is plenty for comparing to an observed effect.

When the numbers come out for #ASSA2024 registrations, remember to adjust them downwards a bit to account for the people who registered but missed it. In all but one of the sessions I attended so far, a presenter was sick and couldn't attend.
