I'm a Jew, a faculty member at northeastern, and I visited the Gaza solidarity camp each day. Many student protesters there were also Jews. Northeastern admin is justifying arresting their own students by claiming they were chanting 'kill the Jews,' which is a blatant lie.

Students -watch out for these types of tactics. Dis-engage, de-escalate.

The crux of the matter: Princeton and other elite universities are enforcing rules selectively, depending on what students are protesting. Except on matters directly relevant to higher education, universities should be politically neutral.
