On International Workers' Memorial Day, we mourn for the dead and fight for the living. Mortality rates for cancer are much higher in firefighters: Prostate – 3.8 times higher Leukaemia – 3.17 times higher Oesophageal – 2.42 times higher It doesn't have to be this way.
