Great to get out this week with Lake District Chair, Tiffany Hunt & Vice Chair, Michael Carter to visit Lakes Rangers out on site. Very impressed with the skill of the Rangers & passion for their work. We’ll be back to test the new bridges!

Excellent day out on the Lakeland fells for fixthefells Lakes Volunteers maintaining 6 upland paths. Honister to Dubs, Hay Stacks, Brandreth, Grey Knotts back to Honister. Drains cleared pitching (steps) swept. Lots of public engagement. Good fun 😎

We're back at Ullswater again today, repairing the Gowbarrow footpath with the Fix the Fells volunteers.

Excellent but wet one today in Borrowdale for fixthefells Lakes Volunteers maintaining 4 upland paths from Rosthwaite to and from Dale Head via Rigg Head and Honister. An area of peat loss due to water to be worked on by the upland team. Erosion in action video clip.
