Considering we're living through a phase in British public life which values optics & superficial performances, it is fascinating just how many of the folk who've thrived in modern politics seem to have no ability to give a speech, or even talk with confidence in a natural way.

This “Obama moment” horseshit reminds me that the largest individual democratic mandate in British politics is indeed held by a British Asian man, has been since 2016, and Sunak’s party smeared him as a terrorist sympathiser to try and stop him winning it.
