I've been in mourning the last few days for my baby birdie, Emily, who died on Wednesday. Today, I had a giant office to clean out. So I took a Midol and an Aspirin and was able to get it up to showing-level! I *know* I can get a tech job soon through pure gumption!

2 years ago, I ran away, even leaving my new baby, a great brand new laptop behind, because I was working in a smoke shack in a garage. I found out I'm terrified of tornadoes! So, this emergency notification is a bit unclear and I don't appreciate it. Is it clear?!

And I have just reached 901 Honour on @Codewars! I did three JS katas today, but this 4 kyu one really took me a bit. I had to rewrite it a couple times, because I had a keyboard shortcut mishap in my terminal. Instead of 'node snail.js' I was running 'touch snail.js!' 🤣

I saved a bunny today! I have dogs that will chase them down. I was just about to take them out and saw a bunny enjoying itself in our yard. So... I went running out there like a madwoman brandishing a shovel yelling 'I love you bunny and I just want you to be safe!'

I usually consider slugs a bit icky looking. But this little guy, I found trying to crawl in my really tall garbage can, quite cute! I used pieces of cardboard to place him back on my (non-flooded) driveway. Slug loves matter! 🤘

I heard on interview about Twisters 2 and how the CGI is supposed to be so amazing... Well, I'm re-watching the original and love it; it looks so realistic! The part where they're under the bridge with the slats being pulled up? 💋

I had my sleep interrupted from a *potential* project. I often solve bugs in my dreams, but this was a first for me! I have this colour tool so fully planned out now.

I had 2 wins today! 1 - Finished designing a Figma file. 2- Noticed that routes like /projects/id doesn't necessarily need to be nested in react-router-dom.

I took on making the Figma file for a Sudoku web app collab. It was sooo hard creating that grid! So, I decided to take a Figma course. Set myself a challenge to create a deserted island using the shape and pen tools. Here's my 'art' displayed like on my parents' fridge!
