The Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year exhibition is on until Sunday 24 March, at the LJMU John Lennon Art and Design Building. Some of the works will become part of the Julia Midgley: Drawing a Record exhibition at Kirkby Gallery.

Outside Prescot Museum is looking better too! Our wonderful friend, artist Kath Anderson, designed this gorgeous graphic reflecting aspects of the cultural & industrial heritage of Knowsley. It's a subject close to her heart & she very generously created it free. Thanks Kath 💕

There are lots of blank spaces & empty cases in Prescot Museum, but don't panic - we are hard at work changing the layout of the displays & redecorating. We will be finished at the end of March, with objects packed away safely in the meantime. #PrescotMuseum Culture Knowsley

Look at these incredible artworks made by mega-talented Eastcroft Park pupils! They were inspired by Julie Dodd's pieces on show at Kirkby Gallery as part of our previous exhibition, Crafted. I'm sure Julie Dodd will be thrilled too!

Please be aware that we are refreshing the displays at Prescot Museum over the next few months, with large sections removed to make space for more images and new cases so that we can share more of Knowsley's heritage. We can't wait for you to see what we have in store!
