Why do I never see hypervigilance due to trauma on a young person school medical condition?

Their brains and bodies are wired to be hypervigilant from the trauma to protect itself by disassociating, shutting down, fighting, or flight freeze response 🧠🌱

Once again TB fails to grasp the essential point here. We can anticipate that any school community will include children with a range of SEND, including poor self-regulation. We need schools which are ready, willing and able to be as inclusive as possible for all to benefit.

SEMH is bursting at the seams with underlying learning, processing,language and communication needs

We changed behaviour to MH to encourage curiosity, now we head back to badly behaved labels
