I would like to thank eLife Community for this prestigious award, happy to be selected as one of the nominees. This award will enable us to conduct more low-cost studies using plants with larvicidal properties to control malaria mosquitoes in the DRC Congratulations to all!
Many thanks also to GigaByteJournal, whose Ben Barres Spotlight Award was won on the basis of the article published with them. A great experience √√√
Congratulations to Victoire Betra for winning a Ben Barres award for his work describing and sharing data from Anopheles malaria vectors (doi.org/10.15468/excax3) and Arbovirus carrying Aedes mosquitoes (doi.org/10.15468/q53h26) from different districts of Kinshasa in the DRC 🦟🇨🇩🏆

Was nice to present on #datapublishing and our vectors of human disease series at the GBIF @ecoevo.social/@gbif Asia Nodes meeting in Beijing this morning (see the series here doi.org/10.46471/GIGAB…)
Question now from our publishing platform guru Kaveh Bazargan at #MDCsummit, asking since research papers PDFs are essentially just wrappers for research data, should we do a better job embedding full data provenance in them?
