Happy #NationalFossilDay ! Located just across the river in Clarksville, IN, the fossil beds at the Falls Of The Ohio State Park contain a 390 million-year-old Silurian and Devonian coral community, and represent the world’s largest exposed Devonian Period fossil beds.

Today in history, 1888, construction started on the Big Four Bridge. Originally used as a railroad bridge, the span sat unused from 1969 until 2013 when it was reopened for pedestrian use. 🌉 It's now one of the city's most popular spots and sees over 1 million visitors annually.
