EHJ meta-analysis of 7 RCTs of TAVRvSAVR, 8020 pts. 2-yr mortality reduced w/TAVR (HR 0.88, P=0.03), independent of surgical risk (Pint=0.41) & TAVR type (Pint=0.67). Benefit for transfem only (Pint=0.03). TAVR also associated w/lower stroke but more vasc compls & perm pacers.
