I agree. This is more significant than the bizarro-world histrionics of Senator Katie Boyd Britt 's presentation.

In short: the graphic story she told about a victim of sex trafficking 'at the border' appears to be flat-out provably false. As she would have known. Worth a follow up.

It’s not just that Katie Britt’s story was false (since the woman she cited was trafficked by cartels within Mexico).

It’s that the border policy she supports would be to send victims like that back to Mexico into the hands of the cartels, with no chance to seek asylum.

That was definitely the feeling inside the room. And a bunch of flabbergasted republicans unsure whether or not they should applaud stuff like job growth and taking care of veterans. It was quite a scene.

Reminder: Robert Hur is testifying next week and will have to defend his description of Biden in the context of the president’s SOTU…
