We've been working on some exciting things behind the scenes for the last several months. Thrilled to finally announce the AMR Policy Accelerator focused on bridging the gap between research and #AMRpolicy .

GSL Senior Investigator Patrick Fafard presents six explanations offered by #PoliticalScience for why politicians may enact border closures regardless of what research shows.

This presentation focuses on the fact, in the first weeks of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, most countries moved to a total or partial closure of their borders. The research presented here shows that such border closures were often a violation of international law.
