The illegal parking on Kingsbury Rd bridge #Cycleway1 is back again! Why weren’t the bollards moved further down during the recently completed bridge replacement works to deter this behaviour? Knew this would happen Cycle Islington Hackney LCC Will Norman Network Rail?
I love the ease of getting around & taking my kids to activities all over Hackney, BUT cycling needs to be a whole lot safer, with connected routes & well funded so the default transport for most short journeys is to walk & cycle, not take the car.

The parents of Harry Webb, the man killed as he was cycling in September 2023, have put up a temporary remembrance plaque at the crash site on Kenworthy Road, Homerton.
I implore TfL Will Norman to make this stretch of signed cycle route (LCN 8) safe for cycling.

At the Down Park Rd temporary modal filter, the closure will be extended to 🚲 and🚶from July, when the railway bridge is to be demolished.
Set to reopen in early 2025.
