Channeling my inner scientist by matching my outfit with the color of my phytoliths (plant microfossils) today 🌱✨. Diving into some morphometric analysis work with outlines that are as sharp as my look!

Currently working on a manuscript about dicot phytoliths. Some are incredibly fascinating. Next time you feel the sharp sting of a nettle (Urtica), just think about the intricate beauty of the stinging microhairs that got to you (the irritating chemicals are in the bulbous head)
