Last night, AWBD-TX hosted its annual Spring Seminar where our General Manager presented HGSD’s all-inclusive approach to preventing further subsidence in the greater Houston area to over 450 professionals dedicated to bettering the operation of Texas’ water districts.

HGSD Board of Directors recently approved the District's participation in a multi-agency collaboration project to determine the feasibility of seawater desalination as a sustainable alternative water supply for our area.

Check garden hose connections at the spigot for leaks. If you see drips, or if it drips while running the hose, replace the hose washer. Ensure a tight connection by using plumbing tape & a wrench. A leak could waste > 2,000 gallons water/month!
