We're here to amplify the balance of compassion & rigour central to VCSE services in #perinatalmentalhealth . Relational, heart-led services underpinned by hidden rigour. Hidden, because we want services to be welcoming & accessible - to hold vulnerable parents in safe spaces.

We hear a lot that the VCSE is valued. There's good intention to reconcile inequity, but when funds are cut, it is often the first casualty. Of course all sectors need investment, but it needs to be proportional. Walking the talk isn't easy, but it's necessary.

Interesting third sector stats - skewed perhaps by larger orgs. Small charities are seeing costs rise faster than income & are facing significant sustainability challenges. So important that we support grassroots VCSEs. civilsociety.co.uk/news/charity-s…
