We welcome & congratulate EISFela on winning a pay offer that their members have voted to accept. We call for the Scottish Government to properly fund colleges and end the yearly cycle of further education cuts. Read Sai Shraddha Suresh V's statement: nus-scotland.org.uk/students_hail_…

The EIS has decided to recommend acceptance of a new, improved pay offer of 4.27% to Scotland’s teachers. We will open a consultative ballot tomorrow, with a recommendation that members should vote to accept the improved 4.27% pay offer from employers. eis.org.uk/latest-news/pa…

#YesYes EIS Glasgow It's the only viable option to fight these cuts that are leaving us exhausted and burnt out and leaving our pupils under-supported.

Just a reminder of why I'm voting yes/yes. This is (some of) what we have already lost because of cuts implemented in Glasgow schools from August. We cannot continue like this. EIS Glasgow EIS ✊️📣🚫

EIS members should look out in their email inboxes for their digital ballot papers arriving. The EIS Salaries committee is recommending members should vote to accept the offer, however it is ultimately for Scotland’s teachers to decide. Vote in the consultative ballot now!✊✉️

Well done, Wales! Meantime, there was no mention of free school meals in yesterday's Scottish Government Programme for Government... If John Swinney wants to end child poverty, feeding our primary children would be a start

EIS Glasgow EIS Ready to post #yesyes - sometimes I think GCC forgets that schools operate on the goodwill of people and their voluntary additional work for the overall wellbeing of young people. Feels like end of term already - we're only a month in! Post your ballot asap.
