Been a wet year so #INNS #Crassula has spread on Rimmer's Marsh RSPB Ribble Estuary #Marshside. 😭One of the tools to keep it in check & retain muddy feeding areas for #waders is cattle grazing & trampling. Note the contrast between grazed & ungrazed sides of the fence. #RSPBEcology

After nest failure, a GPS loggered Little Tern flies from it's breeding colony at the Beltringharder Koog (North Sea, orange) directly to the Baltic Sea to visit other breeding colonies. An interesting case of prospecting behaviour!

Our Tetney Saltmarsh had one of the the best breeding densities in the Humber survey, but not to be complacent we ask people to continue to support their continued breeding success by not walking onto the Saltmarsh and keep to the public footpaths.
