Unsurprising I suppose (due to the weather down south v. the weather here) but there are currently 50+ motorhomes in or by Shieldaig village. About half filling the camp site, the rest...

I can highly recommend the Beach Cafe at the Ocean Explorer Centre Scottish Association for Marine Science Dunstaffnage. It is run by two Ukranian women who have taken over the cafe last week. Well worth a visit for home baking, coffees/teas, breakfast & lunch. A good cycle stop Oban via Ganavan #Route78

This groat of King James III of Scotland, minted from 1484 to 1488, is one of the 1st coins struck in Northern Europe with a realistic portrait in the Renaissance style. This example from the Lord Stewartby Collection at the The Hunterian is one of the best preserved I’ve seen.

The odd thing about "Labour Friends of Scotland" is that it's the same format as other Lab overseas special interest groups, but for a nation inside the UK. They claim Scotland's British but then set up a "Friends" group because they know it really isn't. x.com/melanie_ward/s…
