It's exciting to see Foldseek search integrated into the AlphaFold database. Now, you can explore similar structures in PDB and AFDB50 directly on each AFDB page, along with the Foldseek clusters! It is really great for the community to have independent servers as choice.

AlphaFold はノーベル賞が出てもおかしくはないが、この分野で賞が出るとしたら、共進化情報から構造予測できることを見出した人(歴史的経緯に詳しくないので具体的な名前は挙げられない)と、構造予測に基づいた人工タンパク質の設計という点で David Baker あたりがセットになるかなと思っている。
