I love girl poets! I love poets who write about how hell is being a teenage girl, but how sublime it is to eat olives and cheese on the grass! I love how you could have saved your Mother! love poems about beauty and ecstasy and melancholy. I love unabashed love of the feminine!!

We lose the habit of reading because we’re afraid of wasting our time. We think we need to be preoccupied and productive at all times. But people are not machines, and you are nourished by naps and fiction and basking in sunlight, no less than by food and drink.
