Researchers from Guelph History Dept are exploring the 'Many Stories of Duff House' - a unique partnership with Historic Environment Scotland. Gavin Hughes (MA '24) has been the lead student researcher with Kevin James, working with Dr Laura Harrison and a team at the stately Duff House. University of Guelph UoG_ARTS

James's research examines aesthetic assessments of Scotland’s terrain in personal travel manuscripts from the early 19th c. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📚

On Sept 18, the Centre for Scottish Studies Scottish Studies hosts a roundtable where graduate researchers will share some of their findings, including Brenna Clark and Grant Schreiber from UGuelph, and Roslyn Potter, who is visiting from University of Glasgow . All are welcome to attend!
