What a special night this was, Brian and Robin's Compendium of Reason! Wonderful to share the stage at the Royal Albert Hall with my great friend Benjamin Roskams whom I've known for many years, and to perform Handel-Halvorsen's Passacaglia in front of a packed house 😎

As part of Royal Academy of Music bicentenary celebrations, a chairs concert was held where myself, Martin Outram and Josephine Knight came together to perform with talented students of the academy in Schubert's celebrated 'Trout' Quintet and Dohnányi's Sextet, Op. 37. What an evening!

👀 Can you spot the original from the copy?? I'm so fortunate to be playing 2 superb instruments- one is the 1785 'Wilhelmj' by the celebrated Giovanni Battista Guadagnini; the other is by the wonderful English maker Melvin Goldsmith.
