A hugely important meeting as Ernest Aryeetey prepares to pass on the baton to John Gyapong. Great turnout of university leaders whom I have come to admire greatly. Best of success as the groundbreaking PhD programme gathers momentum! RU Vice Chancellor
Incredible how much the European research and education areas have moved towards real collaboration over past few years: this meeting University of Groningen is a real testament to this. Great to non-European partners Wim de Villiers Stellenbosch University ARUA there also.
Worth taking a moment to thank Universities UK colleagues and not least vivienne stern herself for their outstanding and tireless work, esp. over the last few weeks. The difficult times won't be going away soon. But I cannot see how their job could be done any better! Thank you!
What should be captured with a #Europeandegree ?
Jo Angouri University of Warwick: 'The journey towards fully joint European degrees provides a chance to bring real value added for the sector by simplifying process and cutting red tape in QA frameworks'.
