, I mourn that such frivolous violence has ended your life. My heart goes out to Takeoff’s family and to all who are devastated by his death. We have a lot of work to do in transforming the culture of violence into a culture of community awareness and care.

We have a society where people do not care about each other. Guy in flight is coughing like crazy no mask. Even if it’s not COVID cover up man. We need a Beloved Community we are all in this together

Affirmative action is such a touchy subject with a lot of white people because white supremacy tells them they are the best and deserve all the benefits of American life. And their anti-Blackness makes them believe Black people are undeserving.

Having Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson and Sotomayor on the Supreme Court is critical. They do not stand for BS. If there is no resistance to the right-wing extremist takeover people will think it’s ok. It’s not.

Today Supreme Court hears arguments in 2 affirmative action cases. This could determine if we’ll have diverse colleges in the future.
Who we elect to the US Senate ( 😉 ) impacts who sits on the Court and determines our future.
It’s all connected

Youth, we stand with you in demanding policies that focus on helping you reach your potential and contribute more to society. We know the Gov's transfer of youth to Angola harms all youth and our communities. Tell him . Sign the petition: fflic.org.

A lasso…this police department uses them to catch “livestock” This cop planned to use it to catch a Black man. She said it’s better than a taser.

RIP Rev. Calvin Butts. He had a vision and commitment to bring Harlem back to its Glory days and redeveloped the area through its CDC. He was an important voice in the city.
Condolences to his family and church family.

Unfortunately intimidation and violence have been a tool to restrict voting, particularly against Black people. Now extremists have turned on election administrators but with same goal. The so-called great replacement (white supremacy) motivates them.
