Tremendously bummed and surprised about this decision. Race Hub has been so important for NASCAR. Very sorry to hear about this, particularly for all the people who have worked so hard to make this a great show.

I should probably close this browser tab since it's been a few days now since Kansas, but it's been kinda fun to keep stumbling across it and staring at the margins. What a classic.

NASCAR's Brian Herbst is quoted in this story. He tells FOS that he 'isn’t too worried about NASCAR’s current base making the switch to streaming for races on Amazon—more NASCAR fans currently subscribe to Prime Video than cable.'

Rep. Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is looking into F1's rejection of Andretti Global’s bid to join the grid for 2025 or 2026.

Certainly, there are a lot of people who fit that description. But also...there's an 800k person gap between F1 and NASCAR this week. I'm not sure the rain delay accounts for that whole number. (Also helped F1 that people probably heard Max actually might not win and tuned in.)

F1 smashed its U.S. viewership record (for any F1 race ever) and also beat NASCAR in the ratings for what is believed to be the first time. NASCAR obviously had a three-hour rain delay, but still...this was unthinkable not long ago. (story via Madeline Coleman) theathletic.com/5477299/2024/0…

Good ?/comment here from Denny Hamlin. He's not alone. The quality of the photo has many factors: sunlight (which is why the Derby photo was clearer), humidity (it rained earlier), distance from S/F line (the cam is on the cold side of PR). Here are two examples during daylight.

As you said, getting 95.8% of people on the internet to agree on literally ANY topic these days is pretty remarkable in itself. I'm honestly not sure it can ever get any higher than this. There are always going to be unhappy people who can't allow themselves to enjoy something.
