I have had multiple people tell me being against using AI to write a book *is* ableist because things like speech-to-text applications use AI, and I just want to be clear that using tech as a medium to put down your words IS NOT THAT TECH WRITING THOSE WORDS, YOU ARE WRITING THEM

Lol my mentions are full of AI fans talking about how it’s ableist not to consider people with “great ideas” writers simply because they don’t in fact write, and my dude, ideas are dirt cheap. They mean nothing. I get ten book ideas daily. Writing is what breathes life into ideas
