I would say this is true for the misinformation about COVID-19 transmission. The truth has very inconvenient implications for political and economic power.

So to this day Mandy K. Cohen, MD, MPH gives us official misinformation: tells us to wash hands and doesn't mention ventilation.

Breathing clean air shouldn't be a luxury during periods of high airborne disease transmission either

The solution is simple:

Electrify everything (eliminate combustion);

Deploy what we have as fast as possible;

Keep our eyes on the ball (don't get distracted with weak- or non-solutions).
