It's BS some Olympic sports have multiple events (swimming has 37!) while others only have one competition, yet all medals are the same. The answer? Each sport gets just 40 lbs. of gold to distribute. Win the 100m butterfly? A gold Tic Tac. Basketball? Boom, medieval helmet
