These two landed in Arnhem 18.09.44. I had absolute privilege to guide them. Tom (left was funny & full of jokes). Francis (right) was a quieter & thoughtful man. Tom told funny stories, Francis didn’t & I didn’t push him. Both survived (which for 10 Para was a small % 1/
