Cardinal Mindszenty visited L.A. and St. Michael's Abbey exactly 50 years ago, on Corpus Christi 1974.
Listening to the witnesses yesterday, for 🇭🇺 Hungarians in the American diaspora it was one of the most important (and exciting) days of their lives.

In working for Fr Willie’s cause, we have seen providence at work. This is true of the Diocese of Meath agreeing to open the cause. Meath places great emphasis on Eucharistic Adoration. Our present bishop & his predecessor, with numerous collaborators within the Diocese, have

Exciting Mindszenty-related day in wonderful St. Michael's Abbey, Silverado/Orange.
I talked on the great Cardinal before a crowd of Norbertines, Order of Malta and lots of 🇭🇺 Hungarians, on the 50th anniversary of his visit there.
Very moving: when I asked all who had

What a glorious day in Armagh, thanks to the Knights of St Columbanus for erecting bunting ahead of tomorrow’s Corpus Christi procession. Should be a wonderful moment of grace and blessing

St Thomas Aquinas called the Eucharist consolation for the desolate: in this Sacrament Jesus is present for us, fulfilling his promise to stay with us until the end of time, to receive us into himself to give us rest, to feed the hungry, to make us perfect as the Eternal Father

Thrilled to have met a lady at the Rosary Rally whose father was in the trenches with Fr Willie! He was always devoted to Fr Willie's memory; he said that he was very focused on hearing the confessions of the men and giving general absolution before they went into battle.

Early morning but already huge crowds in the St John's Centre in Knock for the special Marian conference ahead of the Rosary Rally. Up first- the Fr Brendan Kilcoyne who started his talk with a reference to Fr Willie.

I have just been to Medjugorje. Some of you might like to know what I thought of the experience. First of all it was rather full of people, unusual, I thought for a weekday morning. It was a mixed crowd: couples, families, young people and old; lots of Croats, Italians, Germans,
