This is unbelievable. Nothing compared to what protestors are going through right now and what young black men experience from police daily (not to mention Palestinians 😔), just hopefully shocking enough to reveal this latest madness as pure repression.

This article on the Colonna report puts it plain and simple: the campaign against UNRWA is political, not evidence-based, yet many Western countries jumped when they were told to, at sudden and continued horrific human cost.

For over 35 years, I have witnessed UNRWA operations in all 5 areas of operations – Gaza, West Bank, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. I have met with every single UNRWA CG since the early 1990s. My first boss was head of UNRWA operations in Gaza when the first Intifada broke out

Extremist settlers blocking aid to enable collective punishment & settlement of the Gaza strip. Tragic example of how parochial prosocial & moral drives get mobilised for genocide, as @tage_Rai & Alan Fiske outline in their work on violence as 'virtuous'

It is impossible for me to see this and not immediately think of the photographs of starving children and teens liberated from the death camp with my grandfather at the end of the Holocaust. Enough denial, enough excuses, we must stop this. Even one starving child is too many

Exactly four months ago, children in Gaza held a press conference in english to beg the world to stop the bombardment. Almost 15,000 children have been killed since then. No one listened.

The scenario we have long dreaded is unraveling at alarming speed.

Today, I’m sounding the alarm once again: Military operations in Rafah could lead to a slaughter in Gaza. They could also leave an already fragile humanitarian operation at death’s door.
