🚨This will be the last post we share here. We believe there is no point in telling our human stories anymore; everyone has grown accustomed to seeing us killed. It's no longer worth the risk to send our voice out to a world that is content with mere solidarity. Even many of our

What fascinates me about the hummingbird hawk-moth isn't just the eighty wingbeats per second or that it can side-slip in flight but that it traplines. It holds a memory of scent, returning to the same nectar sources at the same time each day. It follows a map made of flowers.

On 16 August I sadly lost my silver-coloured wedding ring in the Sorgue at Rapide de l’epinge. I know that it would be a miracle but, if anyone finds it in the river, then I would be so grateful if you could let me know. Thank you.

Staggering piece of reportage, data viz & photography from a team at Bloomberg on the ruin that is Gaza. 42 million tonnes of rubble. As an historian specializing in *post-WW2 reconstruction* puts it: “Gaza is something never seen before in the history of urbanism.”

Exacerbating one crisis while pretending to solve another -- the BLM is giving away many millions of acres of the last best public lands to utility companies so they can bulldoze them for 'green energy' profits -- this agency is such a 'wise steward' of our public lands.🤮

A Levant sparrowhawk, kestrel and short-toed eagle suddenly all above the garden right now. Feels a bit like waiting for busses this morning.
