'...much of neurodivergent life is watching others lie to me and to themselves. Poetry allows me, and others like me, to say things a dinner party wouldn’t allow with precision. On the page, I can practice accepting my reality rather than affirm everyone’s projection of it.'

this slaps! i love poetry i love the rhythms of our unique voices i love autistic and esol and other dialects and cadences and i love being open to joy and wonder wherever, and whoever, it emerges from, whole and ready to experience
