How to get good at baseball: option 1: spend a zillion dollars on travel ball, private lessons, equipment, play no other sports, switch teams if you don’t like what’s going on. Option 2, play every sport you can, climb trees, fish, ride bikes, play a bunch of wiffle ball!

The #5 seed Lady Commodores are on their way to Casper, WY for the 2024 NJCAA DI Women's Basketball National Championship!

During the National Championship, Beef 'O' Brady's in Lynn Haven will host the NJCAA Women's Basketball Watch Party for GC Athletics!

The biggest thing lacking in today’s youth is respect. That is not an indictment of the youth, it speaks to those who have a platform in which they can teach the youth. Respect is not inherent, it must be taught. The entire village needs to step up and help in this endeavor!

The unintended consequence of pitch count limits in youth baseball is that starting pitchers have been conditioned to think going 3.2 innings is a good thing. I was always disappointed when I didn’t finish the game as a youngster!

JUCO AD on baseball ticket prices: we started the season charging $5, we then started charging the parents an amount based on how much money they thought their son’s ability was worth to watch. Average ticket prices have jumped to $1,250 per parent. Great marketing idea!
