Dr. Katie Birnie Such an amazing effort all around! Bonusinfo: It also changed how I do my research and approach people in pain…that’s an impact almost 7000km from you 🙌 Congrats to you and your team.
This project was career changing for me and formed the foundation of my #PartneringForPain research program. It changed how I do research in partnership with youth and families, and the impact and value that work can have. I am eternally grateful to all involved!

It was a huge honour to be recognized by ASTech Awards for leading development of the world’s first national health standard for #pediatric #pain management with Solutions for Kids in Pain Health Standards Org! Wouldn’t have been possible without support & amazing contributions from the working group!
