The scenes coming from Rafah are hellish. This is a matter of global conscience and cannot be avoided or ignored. Many remain utterly detached. Emily Thornberry a case study. She says unless the IDF are “really careful, innocent people might die.” Surreal - in the darkest way.

And there: he just said it. They lost control of the narrative. But, not as they seem to think, because of‘emotional pictures’ but because social media says what msm won’t (well, sometimes, but that’s better than almost never).

Serious escalations in the West Bank, and looks like the invasion and the ensuing massacre of Rafah is imminent. Israel must be stopped: halt arms exports, initiate sanctions and immediate action by the ICC. Where are all the politicians who said rafah was their “red line”?

Only when it manifested a centrist, establishment 'progressivism' was it celebrated as an alternative to the Tories.

The atmosphere across Scottish politics is characterised by crude opportunism, a lack of professionalism and personalised emotional outburst. In other words: a dearth of any real politics and disconnected from the lives of the general public. A real sense of decline.
