Thank you to all the people who came out to our Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Aging Faculty Research Retreat yesterday at the Peter Wall Institute. It was great to hear about some of the exciting #aging research happening at UBC and all the possibilities for new, interdisciplinary collaborations.
While #Budget2023 contains some laudable measures to improve student affordability, we are disappointed that it includes no new funding for Canada's research granting councils or for graduate students. 2/2
