'More state school pupils were entered for sociology A-level in England last year than for physics, music, French & German combined'

Some say this is due to increased social activism in teens. I hope that's true but scared it might be seen as a easy option.
What do you think?

It was a privilege to get to know Jeremy over the last couple of years.
He was such a wonderful encourager and has been an incredible supporter of Ukrainian refugees here in the UK.

A great game of rugby with a rugby legend Austin Healey
A fantastic way to end the brilliant Festival of Sport
I did a lot of mad running around tackling people & left the try scoring to the experts :)

Friends I'm genuinely intersted to know if your church mentioned or prayed for asylum seekers and refugees this week after the terrible loss of life and furore?
Do let me know either way.
Many thanks.

If the Bible story is true, then we are all related to Noah, the refugee. As a Christian I am also related by faith to Jesus, who was a refugee. As a child he had to flee terror in Israel and seek asylum for a while in Egypt.

How to solve the challenge of unsafe small boats:
1. Create safe routes so people can apply for asylum outside the UK. (The current UKRS is not functioning properly.)
2. Crack down on people smugglers
3. Use the aid budget as intended, to help countries escape poverty.

The Bibby Stockholm
saves the government virtually no money. It does not seem to be saving it face. It's as unlikely as it is ironic that one large boat can stop lots of small boats. Public confidence in the government’s handling of immigration is sinking

Every human being has a right to be treated with dignity.
Warehousing asylum seekers in unsuitable temporary accommodation is an abdication of our duty of care.
These poor people have been treated worse than livestock pushed from pillar to post.

Confession:
My family have eaten more ice creams in supermarket car parks than on beaches. I have a lot of children and supermarket mulitbuy discounts are too good to ignore even on holiday. Am I wrong?
