Ventura--Update on fatal train v. pedestrian incident in Ventura Friday around 9:27 PM on tracks under Telephone Road bridge. Adult male was sitting on tracks under bridge when struck by Amtrak. VPD believes he may have been under influence of drugs. No one on train hurt.

Ventura--At 9:30 PM there was a report of a vehicle v. a train on the tracks that run under Telephone Road south of Transport Street. When fire and VPD arrived on scene they found a fatality but it's unclear if it was a train v. vehicle or pedestrian.
