On 05/05/24, around 10:21 pm, officers were dispatched to W Short St and Mill St for shots fired. They located shell casings and vehicles that had been struck by gunfire. A female victim suffering from a reported non-life-threatening gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital.

We welcomed 19 new police officers this morning as Recruit Class 10-2023 graduated from the Training Academy!  These new officers will now enter the Field Officer Training phase and will be on patrol.
