Back from Vegas so using my Excalibur Las Vegas glass and starting with a Sons of Kent Brewery Motel California to honour my stay at California Hotel & Casino. Dandy little 5% Pilsner with a hoppy kick and tropical nose. Close to an IPL. Okay... GO LEAFS!!
IT'S THE LAST BEER IN VEGAS (FOR THIS TRIP!) Near my gate is this tiny booze kiosk. Something like 12 seats in total. But it's got some decent beers, like this Sierra Nevada Beer Hazy Little Thing IPA. Seems like an appropriate see ya next trip to Las Vegas.
SOME FRESH HAZE TO PUT ME IN A DAZE! (A remarkably easy achievement.) Hailing from Bend, Oregon, the Deschutes Brewery Fresh Haze is 6.5%, big orange and mango. Don't have to leave for the airport for another 7 hours. I'm not done Vegasing yet. ๐๐
OOOPS, I DID IT AGAIN? When I landed at the California Hotel & Casino Sports Lounge on Friday, the Hop Valley Brewing Co. Stash Panda Hazy IPA keg was brand new. Last night, watching the Leafs-Bruins game, I tapped it out. At $4 a glass, it's the best deal on Fremont. Did I drink the whole keg? Maybe ๐
THE IMPERIAL IPA MARCH CONTINUES! Okay, from California comes the Firestone Walker Mind Haze Cosmic Crusher Juicy Imperial IPA. One of their Mind Haze line of brews. I've had the regular one. This is humongous pineapple and a crushing 9.5%. ๐๐
OH YEAH, IT'S A BIG THING! From California comes Sierra Nevada Beer ('Family owned, operated & argued over') and their Big Little Thing IPA. Since Vegas Goat demanded an Imperial IPA, this bigger thing in the 19.2 oz can clocks in at a solid 9%. Another beauty west coaster! ๐๐
ONLY THUMBS-UP FOR THIS TASTY BASTARD! Got my pre-game going on for my Leafs and found myself another west coast bad boy. Here's LAGUNITAS BREWING CO Maximus Colossal IPA. At 9%, there's another fruit front, thick malt and pine back-end to make this a 19.2 oz party in a can.
THAT'S A TASTY-ASS BEER! Most of the New Belgium Brewing Voodoo Ranger variants down here are hazies. Which is fine. But if you long for a west coaster, there's always the Imperial IPA. Grapefruit, malt and pine - the way the Beer Gods decreed it should be. A 9% quicker picker upper!

Seeing double? Drink a few of these Broadhead Brewery Double Citra Double IPAs & you will. Juicy hit of tangerine,grapefruit,subtle pinneapple combined with a moderate carbonation that gives a hop pop finish. A great DIPA, 7.2% ABV that's will make me go back to Orleans #craftbeer
