We need radical child welfare reform. Council spend on early intervention has almost halved ( ⬇️ from £4bn to £2.2bn bet 2010/11 & 2022/23). Whilst spend on “late intervention” services for children eg residential care, youth justice & child protection ⬆️ by £6.3bn to £9.9bn
