Last night, Makaya McCraven and his *incredible* band (Brandee Younger! Marta Sofia Honer! Lia Kohl! Junius Paul!) took me to another place. I had a ridiculous seat at this amazing venue, all the way up front on the far left… angled and pointed right at his drum kit. 🤯

Revisited the Feist album that came out earlier this year because I saw that it was nominated for a Grammy (in the glitzy Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical category). It’s a quiet beauty, and Blake Mills’ production is stunning as usual. What a record.

I actually *did* stop what I was doing (listening to something else) and put this Niecy Blues album on. Incredible record.
