When Egyptian police assault and arrest Egyptian activists protesting in solidarity with Gaza and Sudan, we call on US officials to pressure Egypt to release the activists. But when US police assault and arrest students from university campuses, who should we call to stop this?

#Egypt : CPJ is deeply concerned about the arrest of prominent journalist and press freedom advocate Rasha Azab. The arrest and assault of women journalists is unacceptable. Egyptian authorities should immediately release Rasha and all other women's rights activists.

It is disgusting to hear how loud the silence of the international community is when brown and black women are being assaulted and arrested in #Egypt and killed and injured in #Gaza and #Sudan . Now or never, international women's rights organizations should stand to support them.

The settlers' violence in the #West_Bank constitutes a real threat and ongoing risk to Israeli, Palestinian, and international journalists reporting from the area. Those settlers responsible for these attacks on journalists should be sanctioned by the Biden administration.
